About the Hostel
The YWCA Auckland hostel is for "social-profit" - that means
that money from your stay goes toward supporting our free community
programmes for women!
The YWCA hostel is a great place to stay whether you are
visiting Auckland for a night or planning to study here for a
year.
We are conveniently located right in the heart of the city, only
a few minutes walk from AUT, University of Auckland and many
international language schools. The Hostel has a public cafe
onsite.
The hostel has 164 rooms and we offer accommodation to
adult female and male residents, on either a long-term medium-term
or casual basis. In line with YWCA's internationally we
retain several floors that are women only. The majority of
our residents are long term and 75% are foreign students.
Hostel facilities include a large communal kitchen and dining
room with courtyard and barbeque, lounges with Sky TV and wireless
internet. We have a coin-operated laundries and limited
secure parking for $50 per week.
We have well-furnished single, twin and double rooms and a
limited number of bunk rooms. All rooms have study desks,
wardrobes, mini fridges and heating
more
Our hostel is run in a relaxed kiwi style by an experienced
international team - available 24 hours a day to help
you. We are open 365 days a year and have 24 hour
