YWCA as recipient:
The YWCA Auckland has made a substantial commitment to each of
the young women on the Future Leaders programme and the women
around New Zealand who attend the Encore programmes. We are
finding that we need to be more creative with our fundraising!
How you can help us:
"Hey, I'm supporting a great
charity….."
Your support and involvement with helping us to fundraise is
actively welcomed and encouraged. We'd love you to use
your contacts and resources so that we can be the recipients of the
funds you raise.
Two ways to get started:
There are many ways to rise to the challenge no matter what your
talents or interests are - the options truly are endless and the
choice is yours! Here are two to start with:

Hold a clothing swap, invite your friends over and swap clothes
over a glass of wine,

Sponsorship of a marathon, relay or challenge that you,
your sports or work team, or even a mentors team are participating
in. Sponsorship and notification can be done via www.fundraiseonline.co.nz

Our website has excellent information about the YWCA and the
Future Leaders Programme. Ask our Marketing Manager for
brochures, newsletters or an engaging staff member or programme
participant to come and speak to your group.
We can promote your event or sponsorship challenge via
e-newsletter, Mentor Musings, Facebook and Twitter. For
donations we can provide special envelopes and send out individual
receipts.
We will issue special thank yous on-line and in our newsletter
and assist with post-event PR.
